I'm a student at ECU with a deep passion for animation and storytelling, constantly inspired by the magic that animated films bring to life. Ever since I first saw how characters and worlds could be created from imagination, I've dreamed of becoming an animator and one day I hope at Disney Animation Studios, contributing to the kind of stories that shaped my love for the art. At ECU, I'm building my skills, exploring creativity, and pushing myself to grow as an artist, knowing that every sketch, every frame, and every idea brings me one step closer to that goal. Animation isn't just something I enjoy, it's what drives me, and I'm determined to turn that passion into a career.

Flour Sack Animation

2D Animation

The first in Introduction to Animation focused on the classic flour sack exercise. We began by developing a creative and original storyboard, followed by designing the background elements. From there, we established the animation's structure by creating key frames and extremes to define the primary motion of the character. We then completed breakdowns an in-between to refine the movement, resulting in a smooth and natural flow. This process culminated in the completion of our first animation piece.

Creepy Character

Model

The second project in Introduction to Animation involved the creation and modeling of a Creepy Character. This assignment provided an opportunity to design an original and unsettling character by integrating natural elements with mechanical components. As part of the process, we developed a character sheet to digitally conceptualize and sculpt our creation, translating abstract ideas and behaviors into a cohesive design. We then applied technical expertise in sculpting, texturing, and rendering to model the character, effectively transforming 2D concepts into 3D representations. This project challenged me to expand my creativity and problem-solving abilities, encouraging innovative design solutions that seamlessly combined organic and mechanical elements.

2D Video Game Animation

2D Animation

Our third project in 2070 was a 2D video game animation. where we got to develop our own ideas for a game and create one using digital imaging software. During this project I learned more about unreal engine for a game development. We created our own worlds, characters, and background to create different and unique games that cater to our interests.

Personal Environment Project

Modeling

In ART2470 we created 2 enviorments, one in class and one outside of class. In class we created a magic room and learning step by step workflows. Allowing us to learn more about maya and all the tools it provides. Our Second enviorment was one we got to create all our own, as weekly homework we applied the same skills practiced in class to reflect our own unique enviorment. Allowing us to portray our style and interests.
